But. As heard from various reports earlier, Nokia won't make the smartphones itself as the company doesn't have the necessary manufacturing facilities anymore. Instead Nokia has asked another Finnish company HMD Global to develop, market and sell, and Taiwanese mobile hardware giant Foxconn R&D manufacture under the Nokia brand.
Further reports of HMD Global booking a spot at MWC 2017 (Mobile World Congress 2017) which is to be held between Feb 27 - Mar 2 2017 has confirmed that former world number 1 mobile giant is making a comeback next year.
So. Nokia's fanboys out there has lot more to look forward to in 2017
